Election Committee Department
The Election Committee Department assists the Election Committee with the practical implementation of elections in the City of Stockholm.
The Election Committee Department manages, among other things, equipment and staffing at polling stations and advance voting venues, the preliminary vote count and reporting the results in the City of Stockholm. The Head of the Election Committee Department is Eva Debels.
The regional election authority is the County Administrative Board. The County Administrative Board makes decisions on the division of electoral districts and is responsible for the final vote count in elections and national referenda.

Overall responsibility rests with the central Swedish Election Authority, which performs tasks such as drawing up electoral registers and sending out voting cards.
