Election Committee
The City of Stockholm’s Election Committee is responsible for the implementation of elections. Its responsibilities include equipping and staffing the premises where elections are held, organising the preliminary counting of votes and reporting the results.
The Election Committee is responsible for the Election Committee Department, which assists the committee with the practical implementation of elections in the City of Stockholm.
The committee consists of five members and five substitute members.
The Election Committee is appointed by the City Council.
