City Planning Committee

The City Planning Committee has the political responsibility for comprehensive planning, detailed planning, building permits and urban surveying within the City of Stockholm.

The City Planning Committee is responsible for the City Planning Department.

The committee meets 13 times a year. The committee consists of 13 members and 13 substitute members.

The City Planning Committee is appointed by the City Council.

Councils and committees, City Planning Committee

The Council for Disability Issues is tasked with providing citizens with disabilities with influence and insight into the issues that the City Planning Committee is responsible for and that affect the living conditions of disabled people. The council is joint with the Development Committee.

Members of the Council for Disability Issues

The naming committee gives the City Planning Committee name suggestions for districts, streets, squares, parks and other public places. It is then the municipal council that determines the names.
