Executive Board of AB Stokab
AB Stokab’s Executive Board is responsible for the City’s work to provide a well-developed IT infrastructure. Stokab’s network is the world’s biggest open fibre network, corresponding to over 45 laps around the Earth.
Stokab’s Executive Board is responsible for Stokab. Stokab is a network owner and provides a neutral fibre infrastructure that can benefit all actors. The fibre network currently encompasses; Stockholm’s inner-city and suburban residential areas, office and business centres, as well as most compulsory schools, institutes of higher education, museums, libraries, hospitals and other public activities.
The Executive Board meets around six times a year. The Executive Board consists of seven members and five substitute members.
AB Stokab’s Executive Board is appointed by the City Council.
