The SHIS Bostäder Foundation
SHIS Bostäder is the social housing resource for the City of Stockholm.
SHIS Bostäder’s mission is to offer safe temporary housing for established and newly arrived Stockholmers who, for social or economic reasons, have ended up outside the regular housing market.
Operations are carried out in forty or so properties around the City of Stockholm. The apartments are provided as temporary housing with short-term contracts at the request of the City’s Social Services. A small number of apartments are advertised via Bostadsförmedlingen.
Operations are based on the statutes adopted by the City Council, KFS 1996:08, Statutes for the SHIS Bostäder Foundation.
