The City Council meets every third Monday, under the direction of the Presidium. The meetings are open to the public.

The City Council Presidium consists of
- President of the City Council
- 1st Vice President of the City Council
- 2nd Vice President of the City Council
Each meetings begins with questions in writing, followed by decisions and motions.
The motion is a written proposal from a City Council member and always leads to a decision after a review by the City Executive Board.
