The list below shows which voting places and times are affected. If you voted in another place, you are not affected by the potential incorrect registrations. You are also not affected if you voted in one of the listed places on another date or at another time.
The Swedish Election Authority will not be able to contact affected voters, as they do not know who they are.
You should not vote early again. If you cast several early votes without also voting in your voting place on election day, all your votes will be invalid.

Background
On Thursday 3 September, the Swedish Election Authority discovered that a number of early votes had been registered incorrectly in its system. As a result, some votes cannot be linked to the correct voter.
The City of Stockholm has supported the Swedish Election Authority in its investigation and has been able to rule out a large share of the items on the list of potential errors.
The Swedish Election Authority’s assessment was that a maximum of 500 votes out of 1.4 million cast between 26 August and 3 September may have been affected by the error. A very large proportion of the potential incorrect registrations has now been ruled out.
