The IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship is the biggest annual winter sports event in the world.
– A major event like the Ice Hockey World Championship is a boost for Stockholm. It’s exciting to offer everyone the opportunity to take part in sports, community, and culture. In addition to all activities in the Globen area, it feels wonderful to present a hockey fest in Kungsträdgården, says Karin Wanngård, the Mayor of Stockholm.
Activities for all in Kungsträdgården
In the Hockeyfest zone, visitors can try ice skating, play table hockey, and join in a sing-along to celebrate Pippi Longstocking’s 80th anniversary. On the main stage, there will be music, culture, and panel discussions.
From May 21 to 25, there will be free activities for both children and adults from 11.00 to 19.00.
